Under the Direction of Fundraising Chairperson Sheila Peterson, this year's fundraisers are bigger and better than ever. No more pizza kits making a few dollars here and there. Sheila has gotten Zia on board with some terrific money makers for you and your athletes.

Fry’s Gift Card Program

HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?

Your non-profit organization purchases Fry’s Gift Cards at regular retail price and then sells them to your group members. Your organization will receive a rebate check based on the total amount of gift cards purchased and reloads. Your supporters will not need to purchase multiple cards because the cards are “RECHARGEABLE” up to a value of $500. Our Gift Cards are the same as cash and may be used to purchase items at your nearest Fry’s Food & Drug or Fry’s Marketplace stores. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for Western Union, Western Union Money Orders, Lottery, or Event Tickets.

HOW MUCH MONEY CAN MY ORGANIZATION EARN?

We offer a generous rebate, which makes it very profitable for your organization to raise hundreds, even thousands of dollars. Fry’s corporate Consumer Service Department sells gift cards to qualifying non-profit organizations at the rebate schedule below.

$2,000 – $10,000 = 3%

$10,001 – $25,000 = 4%

$25,001 – $75,000 = 5%

$75,001 – UP = 6%

The following is an EXAMPLE of the program:

With a total purchase of $15,000, your organization will receive a 4% rebate, which would give you $600 to spend however you would like. Your organization purchases an initial supply of cards with a value of $5.00 to $500.00. Your supporters will reload or add value to their cards between August 5th, 2007 through February 2nd, 2008 and February 3rd, 2008 through August 2nd, 2008. Checks will be issued to your organization twice a year. Checks are distributed within 6 to 8 weeks after the accumulated period ends.
