Michele Anderson

Madison Orton

Madison Orton is currently a student at Glendale Community College, where she will graduate in December. She was the 12-1’s coach at ZIA in 2008-2009 with Michele Anderson.  She received a South Mountain Community College volleyball scholarship in 2008 as a starting OPP, became team leader hitting percentage, team leader kills per game, #2 digs per game. The team finished 3rd place Cuyamaca College, California tournament, 3rd place Southwestern Tournament. She attended SMCC as an honors student and on a presidential scholarship.

She attended Ironwood High School where she was the 2007 varsity starting OPP + team captain + team MVP + Desert West regional championship team + starting OPP state championship 5AII team + Desert West all region 1st team + Arizona Republic all-state honorable mention + AZ Preps all state 2nd team + broke school record for most digs in a match + broke school record for most digs in a season.  In 2006 she was the varsity starting OPP + starting OPP Westwood Tournament Championship team + starting OPP Goldwater Tournament Championship team + Desert West regional championship team + starting OPP state runners-up 5AII team + Desert West all region 2nd team. Also she was the 2005 JV starting OH + team captain + team MVP. She was the 2004 JV starting OH. Madison graduated with Academic honors + 8 semester honor roll + student of the month.
 
Madison was a player at ZIA Athletic Club from 2003 to 2008. She was a 2008 starting OPP on ZIA 18-1s team + captain. In 2007 she was starting OPP on ZIA 18-1s - AZ Region championship team. She also has been playing AZ Region Jr Beach Volleyball since 2004.
