Tournament Recap for March 8

So this is how we did this weekend! First of all it was my birthday!!!!! WOO HOO i am legal now :/ But anyways we played SO good this weekend! The team really played well together finishing in 2nd. We played AJ's 18-1's, Arrowhead, Grand Canyon, and Force and beat them all. Then we had to play arrowhead for the finals again and should've beat them but I guess we will just save it for the next tourney. Oh and I still can't belive we have to be at the airport at 5:20 AM!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not even cool -- Lexi

Kaitlin Haverstadt is a 16 year old junior at Horizon High School. She was born in California and lived there for 5 years. She wants to major in business and if she could meet anyone, she would want to meet Martin Luther King. Her favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because she loves having family over and her favorite cookie is chocolate chip. Jennifer Aniston is her favorite actress and Channing Tatum (so cute) is her favorite actor. Blue Crush is her favorite movie and you will most likely see her shopping at Hollister or American Eagle. The 3 words that describe her are: quiet, sarcastic, and competitive. During vacation time, look for her in Hawaii and if you need to get her a quick gift, earrings is the way to go! Hollister and Victoria Secret perfume are her signature scents and her favorite Disney character is Belle. She started playing volleyball at age 11 and did a lot of other sports when she was younger but stuck with volleyball in the end. The reason she chose volleyball was because she loves being on a team, going to tournaments, and after a long day, hitting gets out her frustration! There is no doubt that this girl will be a huge asset on our team!!!! Lex |
| Lexi has been playing volleyball since she was nine years old and is going to play for NAU next year. She is an outside hitter, which is her favorite, but has played pretty much every position except libero. Her favorite movie isThe Breakfast Club and her favorite subject in school is anatomy. Her favorite food is Mexican food and her favorite ice cream is chocolate chip cookie dough. When shes not playing volleyball she likes to hang out with her friends, watch movies, and sleep. Her favorite store is wet seal and her favorite item of jewwrly is earrings. Her favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. Her favorite disney character is the little mermaid. Kaitlin |

Sam Eastburn Sam, a junior at Cactus High School, is interested in NAU but is verbally committed to Yavapai. Other than playing volleyball, Sam enjoys sleeping, working, watching her favorite movie Rockstar, or hanging out with her boyfriend. In the next ten years, Sam hopes to be married and have a good carrier. If she could be anywhere in the world right now, she would want to be at the beach with friends and family or on a cruise. |

♥ Nicole is 17 years old and is a senior at Boulder Creek High School. She loves volleyball, but while she is not playing she is listening to music, dirt bike riding, and hanging out with her best friends. Her favorite movie is Bourne Ultimatum staring her favorite actor, Matt Damon. Her favorite color is green and loves to eat spaghetti. When given the choice of Pepsi or Coca Cola, she says Pepsi, but prefers Dr. Pepper. In her down time, she likes to watch Gilmore Girls and Law and Order. ♥ m |

Bree is a junior at Mountain Ridge High School. She is a lefty who sets for both school and club. Her favorite movie is Wedding Crashers. Her favorite color is blue. Bree's best moment in volleyball is going to nationals for the past 5 years. Her most embarrassing moment is when she got hit in the face warming up her killer jump serve before a match.. It swelled up and it was hard to see out of it, but she's such a trooper and played through it!! On her spare time she likes to hang out with friends and go to movies. I did my player bio on Lindsey Welliver. She was born December 10, 1991. She hopes to attend NAU or ASU after she graduate from O'Connor High. She wants to major in sports medicine. In her free time she loves to cook and her favorite junk food is french fries! Some people don't know that she likes football a lot. Her favorite movie is Alex & Emma and she will be representing us from her favorite position on the outside this season. |
| Katie is our amazing setter who is 16 and born on October 19th. Her favorite color is blue. She absolutely loves Cold Stone and her favorite thing to get is Coffee ice cream with Recee's. She is all about volleyball but still likes to do things outside of that with her friends. She loves to go to movies, play sand volleyball, basketball, and to go shopping. Her shopping hot spots are Hollister and Buckle. She has one little brother, his name is Ben and he is 14 years old. Katie's role model is Kerri Walsh because she is a star volleyball player and sees her has someone to look up to. Katie has goals to go on to a big college somewhere in California or maybe Colorado State, and she wants to be there setter. One random thing you would never believe about Katie is that she loves the smell of gasoline. Kind of wierd she admits but oh well, haha. Well, that's Katie for ya, hope you got to know her. She's a great girl and if you don't know her you're missin' out! |  |

| hey! okay so i had megan.. and here is what i learned about her her favorite music is basically anything but hardcore rap, her favorite color is purple, and loves singing in choir and going to choir parties. she loves to laugh, play halo, and loves the rain. some of her favorite movies are hairspray, national treasure, and pride and prejudice. she is a senior and got signed to Cal State, San Bernardino. |

Michele Anderson is 17 years old and was born on December 22, 1989. She was born in Boston, MA. She is a senior this year attending Horizon High School and would like to go to South Mountain Community College next year. Michele plans on becoming a guidance counselor for middle school students after she graduates college. Her favorite holiday is Christmas and she loves to enjoy a big bowl of chocolate ice cream. Michele's favorite color is green and if you were trying to find her on vacation, she would most-likely be on a boat in Lake Havasu. One of the great things about Michele was how she made me feel welcome to this new team. She is a very sweet girl and I look forward to spending this club season with her! -Lindsey |
| Megan Rhodes is a fun girl who enjoys sleeping and hanging out with friends when she isn't balling it up on the court. She would love to spend a day eating Reeses Puffs, cuddling up on the couch watching the Breakfast Club or a movie including her favorite actress-Rachel McAdams. She just loves learning about Biology and someday wishes to become a cool Forensic Scientist! She is a wonder on the court, hence she has been playing volleyball for SIX years! Hip Hip Hooray! |  |

Madison is a senior at Ironwood high school. She’s been playing for 6 years, mostly as a right side hitter. Her favorite TV show is Seinfeld and she loves watching movies with Matt Damon or Angelina Jolie. Madison’s favorite subject in school is human physiology, but she hopes to become a nurse. If she’s not playing volleyball she enjoys watching movies and hanging out with friends. Madison also loves eating a nice bowl of captain crunch! J |

1st Invoice mailed out December 20, 2007 and payment is due January 10, 2008
2nd Invoice mailed out January 21, 2008 and payment is due February 11, 2008
3rd Invoice mailed out February 20, 2008 and payment is due March 10, 2008
4th Invoice mailed out March 20, 2008 and payment is due April 10, 2008
*If payment is not received by the due date there will be required to pay a $25 late fee. NSF checks will require a $25 fee as well as cash or cashiers check payments for the rest of the season.
