The team went through the process of picking a team
name for this season. The girls brought their suggestions
for team names to practice and the vote was on!
Intensity and Nitro made it
to the final vote. There were 4 votes
for Nitro and 4 votes for Intensity. The girls
decided to let the parents
break the tie. The winner was INTENSITY.

A little about Doug and Megan...
Head Coach, Doug Rhoades
It all started in the early 2000's when my loving wife
volunteered me to coach my oldest daughter's team
in the City of Peoria Volleyball sessions. After a few years
of learning the game and coaching for the City of Peoria
I was ready for the challenge of coaching Club Volleyball.
My first year of club coaching was the 2003-2004
season coaching Zia's 13-3 team. For the last 6 years I
have been Zia's 13-1 coach. In addition in 2006 I became
the Paseo Verde Elementary School Volleyball coach. I
am currently coaching my 6th season there. I am
looking forward to my ninth year coaching this awesome
sport for Zia while stepping up to coach the 14–National
team for Zia.

Assistant Coach, Megan Rhoades
This is my third year coaching with Zia, I have also
coached at Paseo Verde for three years with my dad.
I played for Zia for seven years and I also played at
Centennial High School including a state championship
my senior year. I enjoy coaching and look forward
to another season with Zia and a great group of girls!

Season Total $2272 - Discount if paying the season off in full at registration $2222
Festival Tournament Information:
Due to a very generous donation, thanks Jim, the total for each player is $40 to participate in Festival. That money is due by April 20th.
