The Zia 14-Annihilators lived up to their billing by finishing 5th in the 14’s Regional Championships held last weekend throughout the valley.

The team won their pool and then conquered the 4th seeded AVA-Mizuno 14-1’s team in a match of improbable comebacks. After losing game 1 and down 16-9 in game two, the team rallied to force a third set with a thrilling 25-22 win. In the rally, the team fell behind at the turn 2-8 before scoring an amazing 13 points in a row to earn a trip to the Gold division.
